Dia de los Muertos Family Activity Day   Saturday, 30 October 2010, 12:00pm - 4:00pm $3 includes admission!/ Museum members free Remember your loved ones and learn more about Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Make tissue paper flowers,calaveras (decorated skulls), papel picado (cut tissue paper banners), and add to the collaborative ofrenda (altar). Allied Arts teaching artist Ben Mann will guide participants in making skull masks from 12-4 in the FIG studio. Stop by the FIG in your Halloween costume to receive a treat during the Downtown Trick or Treat and stay to get creative! Co-sponsored by the Allied Arts Education Project.
