Workshop #1: Spanish for ER Workshop

Dates/Times: Monday and Wednesday, September 12 and 14, 12:00-3:00pm (6 Contact Hours)

Place: PeaceHealth St. Joseph Hospital, HEC Building

Cost: $125 (includes packet)

Objective: To learn essential Spanish vocabulary and phrases common in the Emergency Room, in order to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients on a basic level, while addressing several cultural differences.

 

Workshop #2: Spanish for Health Care (General) Workshop

Dates/Times: Monday and Wednesday, September 20 and 22, 6:00-9:00pm (6 Contact Hours)

Place: PeaceHealth St. Joseph Hospital, HEC Building

Objective: To learn essential Spanish vocabulary and phrases common in the health care environment, in order to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients on a basic level, while addressing several cultural differences.

Place: Skagit Valley Hospital, Shuksan Room

Objective: To learn essential Spanish vocabulary and phrases common in the health care environment, in order to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients on a basic level, while addressing several cultural differences.
